FC Edmonds B09 has steadily grown as a team since it was formed in early 2019.  The team has very talented players, including multiple selections to the statewide WPL Surf Academy team.

The team had a coaching change at the start of 2022 in which a new culture of mental, physical and strategic game play was implemented.  The same team that was participating in silver tournaments quickly grew into a team that was competing and winning gold level tournaments.  The players have proven they could leverage their talents to play together and have potential to be one of the top teams in the region.

The FC Edmonds B09 team thrives in a fun, hardworking, learning environment where they promote playing as a team and supporting each other.  While the team is full of a great group of players and parents, we are always looking to add new talented players who want to challenge themselves, learn and have fun while playing as part of the team.

We train twice weekly (year-round) in the Edmonds/Lynnwood area, play in the WPL leagues during fall & spring seasons and participate in 3-4 tournaments a year.  We record our games for both coaches and players to assess gameplay.

Head Coach: Eric Kimmitt

Eric obtained his Pre-National Coaching Diploma for both 9v9 and 11v11.  He has been coaching select soccer for 4 years.  He has grown up around sports his entire life including training with professional athletes.  He is a lifelong learner for both leadership and soccer which helps him to prepare his players physically and mentally for the challenges of high-level competition his teams strive to play.  He believes in developing players, empowering them to make in-game decisions and challenging them to reach their full potential while maintaining a fun team-oriented environment.

Assistant Coach: Joe Anglin

Joe is a UW grad who is passionate about soccer and coaching youth athletes.  He has been coaching for Sno King rec soccer for many years and recently for FC Edmonds.  His enthusiasm to the team is contagious with the players bringing a can-do attitude both on and off the field.
